Poem: Speyeria idalis

Speyerica idalis

Globs of chaotic orange

shine brilliant in summer sun

and rich chocolate turns

in tranquil tangents,

while drops of summer clouds

pierce the potted paint.

This sight awaits those

quick to perceive

the Regal Fritillary

trapeezing in the breeze.
